Petropolous
John
joined MindShare at launch in 1998, bringing more than twenty years
of experience to the agency. He was appointed Managing Director of
MindShare Melbourne in April 2000 and in that time he has grown the
business from AU$80m to AU$180m. He was appointed Chief Operating
Officer MindShare Australasia in September 2005.
He has
worked on all categories ranging from retail through to IT, auto
and some of the biggest FMCG clients in the country.
John
holds a Bachelor of Economics. John loves the energy and passion
within a competitive media agency environment and has some of the
most experienced media personnel in Australia working for him. He
is married with two children, He is proud of his Greek heritage,
loves Melbourne and is passionate about football.

Amanda
Gome
Amanda
Gome’s has built a reputation as being Australia’s leading source
of news and information for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Her
passion for encouraging entrepreneurs led her to founding and
editing the Emerging Companies section and the influential Fast 100
and Upstarts lists at BRW magazine.
Through
her work, Amanda has tirelessly and fearlessly championed the
issues that matter to Australia’s small and medium businesses
(SMEs).
After
20 years in print journalism, Amanda knew it was high time to
embrace the overwhelming shift towards online communications. In
2006, Amanda joined forces with independent publishers Eric
Beecher and Diana Gribble of Private Media Partners to create
SmartCompany.com.au, the website for SMEs and
entrepreneurs.
SmartCompany is a
vital resource for the 21st century that links the SMEs,
entrepreneurs and other business professionals. SmartCompany
provides access to breaking news that matters to SME businesses
along with business trends, advice from leading experts, blogs,
podcasts, forums and indepth features.
A
graduate of Monash University, where Amanda has worked as a
business journalist since 1988 at The Herald, Sunday Herald,
Herald-Sun and BRW. She appears regularly on radio and television.
This is her
first start-up business. “For 20 years I have been writing about
entrepreneurs and telling them what to do,” says Amanda. “I thought
it was time I did it myself!” |
