Access to MCG, Parking
& Transport
First you must book
your place at evolve >>>
The
event is being held in the Olympic and Jim Steynes Rooms at the
MCG.
You can
download a map
with instructions or read on.
You
must enter the MCG via Gate 3, near light tower 1. There will be a
security guard to greet you. You must then take lift/escalator to
level 2
If you
are coming to the ground by:
CAR
First 100 people: Free parking at MCG!
Enter
via ENTRANCE A off Brunton Avenue. The security officer will
direct you to park in the Northern Stand. Park closest to LIFTS 9,
10 & 11 and take the lift to level 2.
Alternative
parking:
Park at
Melbourne & Olympic Park, northern carpark. Enter car park from
Swan St (Entry D), walk across footbridge to the MCG. At the end of
the foot bridge you will see light tower 1. Head to your left, you
will see GATE 3, enter here.
TRAIN TO RICHMOND
STATION
Exit station and cross
Punt rd. Walk towards the MCG, along Brunton Ave, you will see some
stairs, go up the stairs towards light tower 2, walk around the
concourse with the ground on your left hand side, just a little
further around you will see GATE 3, enter here.
JOLIMONT STATION/TRAM
FROM WELLINGTON PDE
Exit station and head
through the park towards the MCG (light tower 1) veer to the left
and you will see GATE 3, enter here.
TRAM
FROM VODAFONE ARENA
Get off the tram at
Vodafone arena stop. Take the stairs/lift to the next level, walk
across footbridge to the MCG. At the end of the end of the
footbridge you will see light tower 4. Head left around the
concourse to light tower 1, just a little further around you will
see GATE 3, enter here.
TAXI
Ask the cab driver to
drop you off at the corner of Jolimont Terrace and Jolimont Street
(Hilton side of the MCG), walk towards Gate 2 which is a little to
your left, keep walking around a little further and you will come
to Gate 3, enter here. |
